If you want to utilize our planners and achieve your goals and dreams, consider the Tasks and Affirmations area portion. Try to keep these two separate, when done properly you will reap the benefits of these effective tools and see how fast you will achieve your goals.
Achieve Your Goals
Try to think about the personal things you need to do which can be put in the Tasks area. When it comes to you career or as I say…your craft, this is where you can write down all the things you want to achieve that day and really work on mastering you specific craft. It doesn’t matter, our planners will cater to all types of people. Whether you are a kid trying to be the best skateboarder in the world all the way up to an adult trying to become a master sales professionals.
Affirmations Within the Success Planner
For example, if you are a teenager on the swim team during the week you have a lot of things going on. You are juggling friends, school, and home life, sports as well as all the other pressures this world throws at you…even the bully in the cafeteria line. To get dialed in every morning start by writing down all these tasks you need to complete for the day. This will be different from the affirmations within the Success Planner. Here is an example of the teenager’s tasks. General tasks would be throwing out the garbage, cleaning my room tonight, calling my best friend in New York or helping my parents out with dinner. The Cardinal Point Success Planner will help you achieve these tasks.
Affirmations – How it Starts
Now, when it comes to affirmations this will be a little different. Let’s take the teenage swimmer for example again. If she wants to become an Olympic swimmer she will first have to believe she already is an Olympic swimmer. So, every morning when she prepares her day with the Cardinal Point Success Planner she will write down her affirmations. Here would be the examples of her craft and a quick explanation on how you can write down your affirmations. Its starts with writing your affirmations down in the future tense, believing you have already accomplished them is the best and only way to really materialize the future…more to come on the Mindset.
- I swam 25 laps today
- I held my breath underwater for 2 minutes…5 times today
- I swam underwater for 2 laps today
- I ate only vegetables today
What does this mean for you? Whatever your craft, the Cardinal Point Success Planner can potentially be the vehicle to get you to a mastery level. The only tough part is committing to changing your life. Habits are the most important thing in this life. Without you even knowing it you are doing habits every day. The only question is, have you asked yourself are they good habits that are getting you closer to mastering your craft? Are you growing every year or are you not growing and working 1 year repeatedly?
Questions and comments welcome.
